Rev. Dann Cecil was born and raised in the small town of Flandreau, South Dakota. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training from South Dakota State University. After marrying his wife (Christi) and working three years in retail sales, he sensed God calling him to prepare for full-time pastoral ministry. In the summer of 1999, Dann and Christi left their South Dakota roots and moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL where he attended Knox Theological Seminary.
During his seminary years, Dann was employed in the accounting and development departments of Evangelism Explosion International while Christi worked part-time as an RN. Dann and Christi have two boys, Caleb (6), Aiden (3), and Charis (18 months). Ages are as of June 2007.
Dann received his Masters of Divinity in May of 2004. Late that summer he was introduced to North Ft. Myers Presbyterian Church, and after several visits to the church to preach, he eagerly heeded God's call to serve as organizing Pastor. Dann is passionate about the Reformed faith and seeks, by God's grace, to expound the truths of the Bible and their daily application through his preaching. He is committed to reaching the lost with the good news of Jesus Christ and equipping the saints for their work in ministry.
Dann and Christi are excited to serve God and His Church in the North Ft. Myers area. We look forward to worshiping with you if God brings you our way.
